Polypropylene is water resistant, acid, mould and fungus resistant,
and clean to work with. These inherent properties make it ideal for carpet backing, particularly for heavy duty contract carpet.

 

The yarns are extremely uniform along their length with no thicks and thins making the carpet face very uniform and reducing expensive pile yarn wastage at the cropping stage. This applies to all sizes of yarn down to the very finest counts thereby promoting high weaving efficiencies.

The use of Bonar carpet backing yarns are highly recommended in the carpet industry.
